ST All things Episode 7 Fan Made

^ Not entirely thrilled with that mash up for various reasons, but I hope official posters do not go with the light and the dark split like that. I'd like to see something more artistic too (as much as I love that photoshopped RoTJ Luke...)

Call me whatever, but I certainly hope we get some hand drawn/painted posters with this trilogy.

take off the anti jar jar and rebels stickers and darth maul and fold the edges back and it's perfect!

 

Imperial Reject, I was just about to post the same thing about that fan poster. No need for any PT call back (good or bad) and the rebel sticker is distracting too. Otherwise, it's a nice piece.

That's a really good poster. Take away Jar Jar and Maul and it is awesome.

I LOVE the "Rey" and "Ren" pics in that poster!

 

I thought I'd make myself a new home screen for my phone. Still needs a bit of faffing, lines cleaning up around each object, the tattered part where the bubble was needs a bit of refining, off shadows to fix, colour, texture etc. Any suggestions on what ephemera to add to the mix?

Not room for it on this I suppose, but I'd love to see something in the style of the stickers from the original Topps sets...the head shots with the thick green, yellow or orange backgrounds. I've been waiting for somebody to do that since the "cards" came out.

I love seeing the different takes on the Struzan-style posters. It goes to show how many different things you can get out of a fairly rigid format while staying true to the style.

This is why I hope (believe)Rey is a Sky/Solo. Fans are already picking up on the hints of the lineage. The tinker, the hero emerging from the wilderness, the speed freak...looking for adventure in the great wide somewhere (okay, that was Belle, but a great line anyway). There could be so many things to compare and contrast by the end of the ST. With so many obvious similarities, how will their choices define them?
