so I'm working on a TFA Banner and I'm renaming the pics I'm using, I'm saying them to myself as I go along and I end up saying "Phasma, Hux, Kylo, Rey, Finn, Poe.... what the hell is this the ******* Teletubbies or something?" lol

The internet really likes to draw Kylo Ren it seems

 

That was fast.

 

I mean, Kylo has a really cool design and (generalizing here) Tumblr gals like their genre bad boys; just look at how they took to Loki a couple of years back. So, it's a no-brainer to me that he would be depicted in fan art the most.

 

Yep. Tumblr gals sure do love their emotionally damaged dark-haired guys. I''ve already seen people there call him "Space Jon Snow", "My Sith Baby" and "A beautiful cinammon bun too good for this world, too pure. Must be protected at all cost". I am not joking.

 

And are they aware Star Wars has never shied away from killing or maiming main characters?

 

You owe me a new computer, because I just spat water all over my laptop.

To be fair, even many posters here are under the impression that harming a character they like is a bad idea and should be avoided like the plague.

 

Nah they dont seem to care since they can always "fix" the deaths/injuries in the fan fic and art.

 

Like that "What if Anakin and Padme raised Luke and Leia" art I always used to see when I had a Tumblr.

Which was, quite frankly, adorable.

 

I think it's because Kylo's got the best poses so far, makes for dramatic art.


Also, it's threads like this that make me wish I could draw...something

 

Can't wait for the fan fic where Kylo tells Han "for the Knights of Ren" as he stabs him.
