Wash, DC All three Mechanics are out!!!

Accuracy X - if the Unit has accuracy it adds X it the dice.
Example - Accuracy 1 - if the die reads 3 it becomes a 4

Intervine - a unit can take the damage for another unit in the same arean
Example - Obi-Wan F has intervine, if the dark side attacks your Leia card with 2 damage, Obiwan can take the damage instead (he can then also evade the damage if you have enuff force points)

Piloting - If a character has piloting, you can stack it on a specific starfighter, giving it a bonus power. normal stacking rules don't apply. (it won't get the speed, power and heath bonus)
Example - The "dutch" card (gold leader) adds a stun of 3 to a starfighter card.

How do you guys think this will change the game?

I really like the intercept/intervene whatever it's called. That is quite nifty. NOt sure about the pilot thing... that confuses me a little. Accuracy is okay, but turning my ones into twos won't do me much good.

I like the new mechanics, but i have a question. I was reading the cards and some of them had this Retreat phase init. What is the Retreat phase.
