"Allegiance" and "Outbond Flight"

    I just bought a copy of TZ's "Allegiance," but I have not gotten around to reading "Outbound Flight" yet. What I need to know is is the latter referenced any in the former?

    No; Allegiance doesn't reference any of Zahn's other novels.

    Yes, it has Mara Jade; however, she's (by necessity) presented as a brand-new character here. She could've been called Cara Emerald without any changes to Allegiance were it taken alone. I can't really count it as a reference in that case...

    I believe a Moff character from Hand of Thrawn also pops up, but since HOT is set decades later, it doesn't have a bearing on the events on Allegiance.
