FF:VIC Allow me to introduce myself.

G'day. Just found this forum after returning to the TFN boards from a self-imposed hiatus (tried to stay spoiler free, but ended up learning most of the major ROTS plot points unintentionally... shattering), so I thought I'd jump in.

I'm a Geelong boy, though I lived in Fitzroy last year while at uni. I was studying Arts (majoring in Linguistics) at Melbourne Uni (I fear I'm opening myself up to criticism there, after scanning some of the other topics ) but in 2005 I'm taking a year off to work and travel.

Anyway, The Apprentice is now on so I must away.

Ahh, welcome to the exciting world of VicFF. And I see you're another Geelongian, nice to meet you...I am an ex-GTwon girl, released from the crater 5 years ago and all the better for it. But I still make the trek down occassionally. someone has to make sure the GH stays closed and the Nash stays open.

Hope to see you around more often, this place needs some new blood.

I think they put speakers or something in front of that door to stop people sneaking in. We used to sneak people in through the door in the pool room after the doors closed at 2, but they wised up to our shenanigans.

 

Damn them! I'll have to rekindle my friendship with the bouncer. I'll never be able to sneak my 17 year old sister in now...

Geelong is a great place for a night out. There was this killer wine bar we went to last time I was in the area, and I can't say I've had a better night in many many moons.
