Amph Almost Human from JJ Abrams

I don't like it advertising where actors are praising the show/movie they're in. Of course they're going to say how deep/intellectual/good/awesome it is.

 

Would you rather they say it's crap like that kid did before he was fired from "Two and a Half Men?"

 

I'd rather they say nothing and let us judge from their acting and the writing.

Dear JJ Abrams, stop trying to multitask and get to work on Episode VII.

 

I think he's more well known for being McCoy in Star Trek, honestly. LotR may have made a ton more money, but he had a much smaller role in those movies.

edit: Rebel, he probably worked on this before he got SW.

 

Down here he's best known for his role as an ambulance driver on the soap "Shortland Street".

 

And it seems FOX is already determined to kill this show as one of the show - runners quit, citing 'creative differences'

 

I'm not sure about this show yet. Though it looks okay, it doesn't seem anywhere near as enjoyable as FRINGE was.

The bad news is that the show's premiere has been delayed until Nov. 17. Gotta love FOX /sarcasm.

 

It looks pretty good but J J Abrams shows have a tendency to not last long. I'll check it out though. Shouldn't he be working on Star Wars or something.

 

I don't know, Alias, Fringe, and Lost lasted a good chunk of time.

 

I'll check it out. I liked Fringe, never really watched Alias or Lost.

 

Fringe was ok, Losts ending was terrible so we are just going to forget that show ever happened and I haven't watched Alias. I'm just thinking of the Alcatraz's etc.

 

They seem to be throwing a lot more behind this than they did Alcatraz

 

I don't think people really understand what "A [big name director's] Show" really means. The vast majority of the time this means they liked the pilot script, decided to put their name on it, helped a bit with the pilot and casting, then handed it off to other producers in their company, and mostly let the showrunners and producing director run the show. I highly doubt this is distracting Abrams from SW.

 

i think ideally jj abrams should come up with ideas and then somebody should just come along and take them away from him and develop the ideas. that might be the best way to deal with jj abrims.
