Had to do it everytime me & my Dad went duck hunting up in Severance (home of the Rocky Mountain Oyster!). I had to drive up, and my Dad would drive home (getting up at 3AM was not his strong suit and I would just stay up all night and sleep on the drive back after lunch).

I've never had a rocky mountain oyster before. They make me squimish.

Lots of luck w/ Kim going off topic like that ;)

Back on topic - I once got dumped in Timnath Resevoir (I don't think they even still have that one anymore) in the middle of November at 4AM, when I was setting up decoys and my boots got stuck on the primordial ooze that was the lake bottom and I took a header on my next step. Dad still chuckles when he thinks about that trip. ZOO, 14 years old, sitting all wet and muddy in the cold November air, sucking up all of the hot chocolate and asking if it was time to go home yet (for 4 straight hours). Didn't see a single duck (a goose, but it wasn't goose season yet), and went home. Mom wouldn't even let me in the door. I had to strip in the garage and she hosed of my clothes before she even put them in the washing machine (lake bottom mud is the most disgusting stuff you've ever come across - black and like cement when it's dry). There, now you have even more things to laugh at me about. ;)

My dad use to go Frog gigging, duck hunting & all that good stuff. Once I went with him I was young and didn't like getting up early. I was half asleep loading up the truck to go duck hunting, sit in the bushes and give him calling thingies, and all he could say was "don't you think you could comb your hair a tweet?"
I don't think the ducks would have minded, they were dead.

Now, I don't get out hunting anymore. We stopped duck hunting because it was getting hard to get onto the lakes. And then I stopped dove & rabbit because of my knee. I'm hoping Dad and I can get out next year, now that I'm doing a lot better.

Please, I'm not the hair person remember (I've been known to take a razor to my head, so I can't say anything when it comes to hair).

The President zoomed by my work and I waved like a little girl that saw Mickey Mouse. He was in town for, I assume, campaign fundraising for Allard and Owens. His cars are very shiny and pretty. [face_devil]

Xerox, our Xerox machine breaks almost every other day. Actually, what a weird job but interesting at the same time, going from office to office fixing office machines and such.
