Alright Hasbro, please produce and release more OT figures - they're long overdue!

I'm sure that others will agree that Hasbro should at least release more Original Trilogy figures, especially the ones that were made as vintage figures, but have never been released in the new line. For the record, these are:

* General Madine
* Imperial Dignitary
* B-wing pilot (carded)
* Various Ewoks, including Chief Chirpa

Also, Hasbro should make other figures that haven't been made yet, like:

* Preying Mantis from ANH Cantina scene
* General Rieekan
* Other Cantina aliens

I know I missed some - please fill in the blanks - Thanks!

 

I believe the Dignitary is scheduled for this year. And if they ever get around to it, the Praying Mantis from the cantina is supposed to be in the second set of cantina sets.

 

Some others that I don't think have been made:

1. General Dodonna
2. Admiral Ozzel
3. The dude who talks to Vader at the beginning of ANH (can't remember his name)
4. Captain Antilles

 

Dodonna and Captain Antilles won the last fan choice poll, so odds are good we'll see them in a year.

As for more OT, well, if the sandcrawler comes out, it will sort of have a new droid (repainted Death Star droid). And uh...we recently got Ephant Mon....

I'd say they're pretty much on par. I mean, they have to keep some figures on the backburner to release during the lean years.

 

They will start making more next year probably. AOTC related toys will dominate the market once again this year and then we will probably get a good mix.

 

I guess they heard you since Hasbro just confirmed two Imperial Dignitaries for this year.

 

Dignitaries be damned, I want some ewoks!
