I.E., CA Alright.......

Pending a vote of confirmation by the other members, I will be assuming the role of president, because of Rachels school schedule and location. She will be the Vice President.


I have 2 topics that i would like to clear up.

First Topic is the shirts. They were designed a long time ago and we will be sticking with design and the colors. Rachel will be talking with a friend to see if he can help us out at all.


Second Topic is the meeting. We will be meeting Friday June 17th at Ontario Mills Mall in the food court arcoss from Cinnabon at 4pm. The meeting will start right at 4 and we are planning to see ROTS while we are there. We will be aming for a 6-7pm showing.

i guess you can count us out. my hubby works past 5 and we are in hemet.

 

Count me out too. I'll be at work. Weekends would have been alot better.

4pm is way too early with people working and having to come from all over the IE.

 

A meeting would be cool--since I'm brand new and would like to meet you guys. I'm off on the 17th and might be able to make it, but my husband works so I have ewok duty. (toddler). Not sure how "formal" these meetings are, so thought I'd toss a feeler out there?

 

please feel free to bring the whole family if need be or if you just want to. it is not a problem what so ever!!

Er, feeling silly, but what do we do at the meetings?

 

Traditionally, meetings are supposed to discuss club events and whatnot. However, all the ones I go to are 80% socialization, 20% business. Usually it's just a nice (cheap) dinner to let all of us get out, show off our new toys (be it costumes, toys), and other stuff.

As for the business, if this meeting actually gets pulled off, club business will be:

*Officer Elections
*Meeting plans (scheduled? Unscheduled?)
*Possible events
*Disneyland meetup (for those going)
*Whatever else we think is important.

 

Should we not be sticking to the one topic for this instead of creating a new one?

Is this even going to happen this week as it doesn't appear that many people will be able to make it.

Seriously though, perhaps as more events get rolling people will find there are SOME, at least, that they can attend.

 

You are right. I am just hoping that we can have more meeting before summers end and get some leadership going. It seems people have already appointed themselves "pending votes" to postions and want to assume the role before such vote.
Anyhow, I am hoping to have more than one event/meeting a month so we can all have a chance on doing thngs together.
