I think if they had that huge Force connection like they did in VOTF then I believe Luke would know and would be like "What the..."

That is very interesting situation you brought up. I assume she would tell him everything if he came right out and asked her. If Luke could forgive Kyp for blowing up a solar system, I think he would forgive Mara...although he would say it was a misuse of the Force.
