Alternate website ideas (?)

Hey everyone, I have a geocities website right now, and it can't really help me with posting video, pics, etc. onto the boards. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get a website with which I can post some of my upcoming projects. Thanx for all your help.

Both very good suggestions. Maybe I should've mentioned I'm a little low on funds for the time being... While I wait to help buff it up, I was thinking of signing up onto tripod. Would you recommend that for now? ?

 

I too am using geocities at the moment, and have been looking to get a host. Fuitadnet is the one I've been considering. It's not too bad. A buck more than that first one, but you get 5 gigs more bandwith (though less disk space, so it's a trade-off).

 

I'd take Geocities over Tripod (having used MANY free hosts), but I've never used a free host for vids...so I dunno which is better in that department...

But for general websites, definately Geocities over Tripod...bleh...

 

Well, the reason I'm trying to find something better than geocities is because if I want to post something on the board off of my page, it'll only last for about 5 seconds until geocities rips it off...

 

If it looks good, I'd host it temporarily for people's viewing pleasure...just an offer...
