I can't really prove this theory but what if all the evidence for evolution seemed real as all the evidence of creation as well. What if god used the earth and the solar system as one giant lab trying to get the best results for himself. Think about it this way. We have moon that didn't evolve. It was a large asteroid that hit the earth a long time ago. It hit at just the right speed and angle to get caught in our gravity to form a stable moon that could affect everything just right. What if it gave just the right balance to the earth. What if god had been experimenting with the other planets to get it just right before the moon. Our continents started off as pangea. What if he formed all the plates and put them together to see how they would work. Only to realize with the dinosaurs that too much oxygen isn't a good idea. The bigger the animals the higher needs of sustaining them. So what if he let them die off to start over. He let smaller animals evolve to something better. What if he had already tried his hand at humans with neanderthals but they just were not working out. Maybe not smart enough or just not as good as he would like. What if the earth we have know of it since ten thousand years ago with the last ice age was Earth v4.0. Where god got everything right and there isn't a need to change anything. Perhaps.

    So, God isn't perfect, then?

God being perfect, yes he is. But I don't believe that he knew that setting the earth up the way he had it would work. Perhaps he let enough freewill and evolution go that time made its own course of events. Perhaps he just tweeked things till they were perfect. Perhaps thru the course of time he brought the course of the earth and its environment in perfect balance. Then of course we humans screwed it up.

So, he's perfect, but not all-knowing?

We have enough problems being forced to compare science with one major religion's creation myth, why make up an additional random cosmogony? What's the point? It doesn't really create any room for discussion or debate. What if the entire universe were perched on the back of a giant turtle? What if our entire universe fit into a single atom of some other universe? What if an infinitely giant kangaroo pooped out our universe? What if after we die instead of going to heaven or eternal nothingness, we get to become an omnipotent deity and create our own universe?

But I guess it brings up a good point that one random supernatural creation myth without any evidence to support it is just as good as any other.
