Buff, NY American Heart Association Walk - September 24

The first post in this thread has been updated with all the information you need.

 

The walk starts at 10am. The idea was presented to have NR lead the walk to a certain point at which we can break away and get out of costume and leave.

Thiings should be wrapped up on our part by 10:15/10:20.


I double checked with Anthony on a changing room. The ususal room we change in is being used to count the money raised at the walk. He said we can change in the conference room and to call when everyone arrives.

I will send Larry Anthony's number.

I was hoping to have everything ready for Xander's family party tomorrow, but things did not work out for me. I'm cramming 15 hours of continuing ed and covering for a co worker who is away on her honeymoon.

 

I will make it tomorrow. Depending on the weather I'll do either ROTJ Luke or pilot.

Just an FYI

We all will meet up at 715am in the back lot behind the stadium and all go into together at that time.

The 10 minute rule will be in effect so please be on time.

Rolled my ankle at volleyball last night, so an event based on walking is probably not the best thing for me to do right now.

 

If anyone has an extra lightsaber they could bring for me to use, I would appreciate it.

My mom's flight was changed and it's a little too close to the time. I hope I can make it in time to either take some footage of you guys starting the walk or take pics.

 

Nice event - we were well received and had fun playing outside with the kids. Chewie made many new 4-legged friends. A few were VERY afraid of the big shaggy dog, however!

Not sure I ever want to see him 'powerwalk' from behind ever again tho.

Really fun event and a good crowd.
