I have vague memories of the Coruscant celebration sequence at the end of ROTJ SE looking different in the trailer for the special edition. I remember it featuring pyramid like builidings? Is my memory playing tricks on me? Was there a alternative sequence made..that was dropped in favour for the one that we now see at the end of ROTJ? Any help would be great.

You might confuse a trailer with artwork for Curuscant.

Yes that is the image! How old is that artwork? I guess i must have confused the two. Is it an example of the Had Abandon (spelt right?) artwork that RM did during the pre productopn of Jedi?.

I don't think they ever had the Coruscant celebration in a trailer. I unfortunately never had the chance to see Jedi in theatres so I never even knew about the new ending until it came out on vhs.

Umm, I think it's from back before RotJ. I only know it from the Shadows of the Empire Soundtrack CD. They had this multimedia thingy on there, with early artwork and stuff.
Don't own any ah... non-fictional books.

From what I hear the ROTJ DVD will change it again.
