An Important Announcement Concerning One of Our Fanfic Community

Mar17swgirl, perpetrator of such crimes as the "Am didn't get the 1000th post on ItMF" incident and the "I'm going to edit all posts insulting Jerdin" incident, has struck again. This time, she has made the Mod Squad's private board public.

She claims it was an accident, and she completely freaked out on me in an AIM chat when she realized what she had done. However, the mods saw fit to ban her, at least temporarily, until the crisis is resolved.

Mar hopes that you all continue to support her despite the disgrace that she has brought upon her family and country. Let us all help her through this difficult time.

HELP HER? She's opened a PRIVATE forum and embarressed the JC as a whole! You should see what episode-x is doing with all this. She deserved her demotion and ban; just ask her!

 

Having been in Mod Squad... why the bloody heck does anyone at ep-x or elsewhere care what goes on there? That always puzzled me, will always puzzle me, and made it not worth my time to be a mod anymore. It's a lot of boring admin stuff, and little steam-letting.

That said, she should have been more careful, though I believe she did it by accident..

Hope they figure out how it worked out.

Anyway, as someone who has been banned before, though accidentally, I know how difficult such rejection can be emotionally. I merely meant that we should help her through the difficulty of dealing with having been mod today, banned tomorrow.

(Anyway, to answer the question of why this thread would stick around, Mar is a fanfic mod, so it concerns the fanfic community whether or not she's banned.)

 

Actually, it opened yesterday March 31 and yes, birthday threads are probationally allowed because they are brief and they sink a couple of days after the birth date.

Because Mar is a writer - this thread sorta belongs in Community and sorta here. One of those ambiguous ones that give me a headache.

Lol, I feel dumb. I didn't even notice that anything was happening-- Mely had to explain it to me several times before it finally registered that the mods were playing an April Fools trick.

 

I feel smart. I saw through it all.
