Omaha, NE An interesting proposal......

On TF.N's ep2 page, there is a story about Ep2 being listed for digital projection. I checked Texas Instrument's digital projection page, and found a listing for theaters. The nearest one is in Olathe Kansas, which I believe is a suburb of Kansas City. It's an AMC. I propose that sometime in late May, or early June, we road trip down there for a two day visit! Imagine this,.. as good as episode 2 is likely to be, imagine how much better it'll be projected on the big screen DIGITALLY!!!!!

A digitally shot movie projected digiatlly on the screen. The mere thought gives me geekgasms!!!!! Of course we'll have to work out the details out before hand. Most importantly, is making sure that it's actually going to show at this particular theater in Kansas. The next nearest is in Illinois. Then procuring tickets. Planning the trip. Kansas City is a 6 hour drive, right? I've never been there. Having our directions sorted out. Hotel accomidations. Etc etc.

Sound fun? It might be fun to invite along any Kansas area fans. I do think we should hold off making any posts about this in the Wichita forum until things solidify. We can discuss this at length at our meeting, this friday. Anybody interested?
