An update...

In case anyone is interested, here's the latest on my wife:

Tracey is in the home stetch with her chemotherapy treatments...only 6 more weeks to go! When that's complete, she'll be taking a few weeks to rest before her next surgery. After that, another few weeks off to recover before radiation treatments. When all is said and done, she should be finished by August (if all goes well, which I know it will).

I am sorry if I have not been participating as much as I'd like to, outside of posting in "How High Can the North Ridge Count?" and occasional posts elsewhere, but right now my wife needs me, more than you may realize. I am hoping to be available for SWN 2016, so if anyone needs or is looking for a dueling partner, I'm available!

I'm glad to hear that she's handling the treatments well. You need not explain your need to be with your family. She needs her husband, we completely understand. We will all be thinking of you and her.

i know how it goes. being and keeping a positive outlook is literally one of the most important things throughout it all. you guys got this!

Glad to hear things are progressing well. She's in good hands. I'll probably see you around lunchtime if you're there. I'm pretty consistent at the café during lunch hour.

 

Funny, we were looking for you this past Wednesday. She had a visit with one of her doctors, then it was determined she needed to see a dermatologist due to psoriasis outbreak. All's well, though chemotherapy got pushed back to Thursday.

A late update:

If you haven't been following on FB, Tracey is now in the home stretch with her treatments. Radiation treatments began around Memorial Day...she will be finished Wednesday morning! Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this past year. It has been very helpful to have a second family to lean on...
