i did a google search and there was like 500 companies, record labels, products named Nu-Life. that was the only link I could find to the leather stuff. sorry.

 

I picked up a pair of the WildEyes Wildfire contacts and they look pretty good.

 

What color did many of you go with that went with the ace wig?
I was thinking the light brown...

Hayden's hair is kind of dirty brown. so lighter would probably be better.

 

I would like to grow it, but I have thick dark Wolverine-like hair... so it doesn't grow right long. Wig is so much easier. Besides, Anakin's nasty mop looks like a wig anyway.

Someone used "Cordovan 636" in the other Ani thread and it matched their glove brown just right. I would think the "Dark Brown 606" or "Chocolate 645" would also work well.

Wow, the contacts look really good. Even if they aren't for costume use, I just think they look neat. I wanna wear them to Algebra class 'cause I hate my teacher; tell her that I couldn't find my glasses.

if you mean in the shoulders to get the "V" look to the torso you could attach some cardboard underneath to give it some structure.

 

I considered that, but I didn't know how it would look. I suppose it's worth a try.

 

Where did everyone get their robes? I've looked at outerrobes.com, and they seem to be fairly accurate. Did anyone go this route?

 

IMHO this girl's wool robes are better than the outrobes.com stuff, and readily available.
This is where I got mine, but went for the cheaper non-wool version... should've went for it after looking back.

She has great communication... even sends a swatch of fabric used for her tunics just so you can look it over before deciding anything, if you ask.

 

you could get some dark brown card or poster board at a crafts store so it will blend in better.

i am just of the phone with Todd. He is still taking orders for the 2 Anakin style Pouches.
They will be 50 + 10 for shipping in the usa. They will be coloured and have the belt clips

So Anakin's leather tabbards are brown right, a very dark brown? I have asked at least 30 people about this color and they all give me either black or brown it is 50/50. But they are brown right, final answer?

 

Yes, from the research I've done over the last several months, it's been concluded that all visible elements of the Anakin wardrobe are some shade of brown.

 

They are DEFINATLY brown.

 

When filming with HD Digital cameras, the dark brown of Anakin?s costume looked to be black on the big screen. Very few people (us costumers) actually know that his costume is all brown. So here is my question, if the majority of the population thinks the costume is black, why not have a black costume? I have seen many dark brown and black versions of this costume. In my humble opinion, I have to say that the black tunic/tabbards looks better and are more recognizable as an Anakin costume.

 

do what you like, thats all i can say about it.
I like i tto be movie accurate so i will keep it brown.
