Anakin vs Darth Maul

i have always wondered what a fight would look like between these guys i mean they had both mastered every fighting style there was to learn apart from the ones that were forbidden that counts for maul aswell
i mean to masters with lightsabres who would honestly win

 

I think that part of the reason why we never saw that fight is because Darth Maul works better as Obi-Wan's foil much like how Dooku works better as Anakin's foil, and perhaps also the reason why Grievous and Anakin never confronted each other.

I'm fine with that personally.

 

Dont get me wrong it that makes sense, each character having a rival but i mean anakin never even meets maul, yet obi wan does countless time

its just an idea of them to battling it out would be pretty epic

 

I think Maul beats the AOTC Anakin without much issue.

I think ROTS Anakin can take Maul.

 

but remember anakin in AOTC is able to last longer then obi wan a jedi master, fighting dooku the best duelist alive at this point, sure he loses but he did last a few time fighting him, but never the less he would lose VS maul yes!

ROTS i think anakin using the darkside at the end yes he would topple maul quite easily but if he was using no anger at all, maul would win

 

Dooku was not the best duelist alive during AOTC. Yoda, Mace, and Sidious were better.

 

yoda never beat dooku in that one on one fight they had they were balanced, mace windus fighting style wouldn't work on dooku since dooku doesn't use anger to fuel his attacks, (thats if you know mace's fighting style) and well sidious never actually fight dooku so we cant compare,

but yea dooku is one of the best duellists alive despite his age

Maul would have a shot against Anakin in Episode 2. That would be the best match-up. Anakin in Episode 3 would beat Maul

 

I think Maul loses. Unlike Count Dooku, who beats his opponents through technique and experience, Maul just seems to throw himself at battles hoping to get the edge on raw power. And being the Chosen One, Anakin pretty much beats everyone in that category.

 

I think it would be a long fight, but Anakin would win in the end. Maul seems to get a bit ahead of himself I feel.

 

ROTS Anakin wins. Too powerful.
