To this date, I would like to know:

    1. Did Anakin tell Obi-Wan the content of those dreams?
    2. Did they escalate in severity and sense of danger?
    3. Did anyone have reason to suspect the dreams were more than that (visions)?

This is one time one can guess, but one cannot know with any certainty.

Per Karen Miller's books, Anakin was not specific with Obi-Wan as to the content of his dreams. Obi-Wan had no idea that Anakin was dreaming that Shmi would die. Whether he would have behaved differently had he known, is anyone's guess.

Obi Wan did a fine job of training Anakin. It's. Anakin's own fault he couldn't keep his emotions in check and took advice from Palpatine.

The Jedi were not entirely truthful with Luke either. Had they told him the truth about his Dad, he might have been better prepared for the confrontation. Not to mention, they were actually training him to kill his father!

No. Why would they want Luke to kill Vader? Well, Luke did kill Anakin. Luke cut off Anakin's hand and anakin's red lightsaber fell down the bottom. In a desire to save Luke, anakin couldnt strike down Palps with his lightsaber because Luke made him lose it, so he picked up the Emperor and his life supported suit was destroyed.

So Luke did kill Anakin, from a certain point of view. Agree or disagree?

Everything from a certain point of view.

Agree or disagree though? If Luke never cut off anakin's hand, and anakin's red lightsaber falling down somehwere, Anakin wouldn't pick up the Emperor and damage his life support suit.

All jokes aside. We're talking about a movie's story.

From this logic, that means Obi-Wan killed Anakin, because if he had never trained Anakin Palpatine would never know about him...
Luke was didn't kill Anakin - in fact, without Luke, Anakin would have stayed dead already and the body would have expired as Vader.

If Luke had not come along, Vader would have never been redeemed and he would have died Vader. This is all in the movies.
