Well done! Interesting note there about Schurke keeping his distance from Jedi already spoken for. He keeps his sense of honor well hidden, but its always there. Of course, I'd be pulling for him to talk to Kam...but that's just me.

He is a bit of a contrary isn't he? Mr. 'No attachments' and all...


Edit (12/2/04): And I just noticed all the character nominations you received in the Reader's Choice awards! (I'm so out of it I didn't even realize they were going on.) That is Sooooo cool! I sure hope this means Schurke will be there in all his award ceremony finery...

Catching up on the last post:

I'm glad to see Obi-Wan isn't complaining too much about Anakin escorting Padme back to Naboo--I was almost surprised that he "didn't seem too concerned", but I'm thinking that here, like in the movie, he had probably resigned himself to the fact that Anakin is going to do what Anakin wants to do.

?Very mild after-effects,? she countered. ?Headache, a little nausea,? her eyes twinkled merrily. ?Impotence??

Somehow I think that would stop any red-blooded male from ever thinking about ODing on that medication.

I loved seeing Kam slip Anakin the vial, too.

?Pretend it?s a new position in the Twi?lek guide to interspecies love making,? Anakin said wryly, leaning against the doorway. ?Lean forward and I?m sure you could kiss your own??

*HOWL* Anakin knows Schurke pretty well.

Great ending--I love it.
