Has anyone played the Holy Grail computer game? it's pretty fun.

What's it like?

 

it's cool. it's basically just like the movie, as far as story goes, but the games are really fun. spank the virgin is my particular favorite

each level has somthing you have to do to unlock it, then you play the game that goes with that level to advance (spank the virgin goes with the Galahad level, and so on).

IIRC, there was like a 50 question test abruptly in the middle of the game. like one second you're just walking and then *poof!* you have to take this test that goes on for way too long pure Python style.

you should try to find it, I'm sure it'd be pretty cheap now, it's at least 5 years old.

 

Heheh, okay, sounds cool. Who was it made by? Did it have Python involvement?

I doubt I could run it - I'm on a mac.

 

I believe Eric Idle had alot to do with it.

I'm not sure if there was a mac version though.

 

I'll try and make a snapshot of it. I's probably the most known occasion of Cleesey dressed as a woman, apart from Hell's Grannies...

Positively scary, especially that "How do you do".

 

Okay, that's REALLY scary.

 

I'm watching the "Live at Hollywood Bowl" show again, and there's this very funny bit when they're doing the Church Police sketch. Terry J as a wife just gives her husband (Eric) strawberry tart with rats (it's basically whipped cream) - just dumps it on his plate. And then Carol Cleveland's voice says "One slice of strawberry tart without so much rat in it later", and Eric says his line "Appaling!" and throws the bowl with the rest of the whipped cream at Terry. And Terry actually starts to laugh, and his next line "Moan, moan, moan!" comes out hilariously. Even Eric is suppressing a grin. It's so funny.

EDIT: And what comes after, is even better! When the Church Police arrives, and the whole family jumps and turns, Terry's wig actually flies off! And Graham and Michael sorts of stand in front of him, trying to cover him as he picks it up and puts it back on (though he puts it backwards ). Hilarious! After that, they're all practically grinning, looking down, trying to suppress laughter. Brilliant.
