Yes, dear LDV, I'll take that wager. Now, my league bowling days were moons ago, but I think it'll just come back (**read**I'll start practicing now). Regardless of whether I bust your butt or bust mine, it'll be a fun night. Come up with a fair bet, and I'm in.

Well, my rear is whooped already then. My high game is only a 160 something, which I thought was pretty good, so I concede. (You turd. )

Do you really want to tempt me with yelling that? First, I'll have to see how heavy everyone's balls really are. (Meaning of course, that if you are all bowling with little 8 lb balls, I wouldn't dream of saying such a thing)

Yeah, put some Frankie Avalon hair on Mr. Korde, and that happenin' white outfit, and he would be swoon-tacular.

Darnit, Marric, now Marcus is going around the house singing Cool Rider and by the way, I have those Lyrics to Beauty School Dropout if you need em. If it wasn't Star Wars, my kids were watching Grease 1/2. I even made my whole softball team go watch it when it was at the theaters.

LDV, you better watch out. Marcus bowled competitively and in college (bowling scholarships). He is pretty good at slinging those bowling balls down the lane.
My shoulder is hurt but I'll come cheer if I can. The relatives are still HERE.

I look forward to competition from Marcus, Nasus. College bowler, versus Semi Pro Bowler hmmmmm could be interesting. But my equipment is old school. An Ebonite Thunderbolt, and an AMF Rhino - drilled out with no anchor weight... both set with finger grips and thumb inserts ... and finally a pair of Linds. But they still work for me.

 

My average used to be 165. Of course that was way before the arthritis in my fingers made me go to a smaller ball. I haven't bowled in a couple of years. Wonder if my ball even fits.

 

Ooooh, a Bowlerama! I will do my best to be there, but I must first check my schedule... that day is my daughter's 7th birthday.

So I must think about my priorities. Daughter's birthday, SVRF get together, birthday, get together... Hmmm, hard decision. This will take a little while. I just may have to consult my Electronic Ask Yoda for guidance!

I was a 160 when I was in the 2nd and 3rd grade and then it went all down hill. I tend to leave Rio Linda smiles down the lane.

 

Ok, now between Marcus and LDV and who knows who else, I've decided I'll just be trying to bowl for fun -- not to win. I think perhaps I'll purposely throw a lot of gutter balls so I don't have to feel like a failure.

We'll see about the yell, dear LDV. Depending on my mood, I may not even need a C3PO to be ornery, so don't tempt me...

Nasus, I feel you. My in-law visit went as well as I expected. And I expected BAD. Hope your visit goes by quickly and nicely.

Dang, now Aunt Beru is a bowler, too. Is there anyone here that just bowls a normal game of say, about 85?

Oh, goody! Join us Wyo -- it'll be a fun way to initiate you into the craziness of the SVRF. Oh Marric, shut up. Whatever about the 160 in 3rd grade -- you are a turd, too. I can remember bowling a 17 in 4th grade on a field trip, and it scarred me for life. I think I'll just drink that night...forget the dang bowling. Humpf! (And I won't make any smart arse comments about you falling, because I totally believe in karma and if I say anything, I'll be the first one on my bum. And that would make me sad. )
