    Peter Brock was killed while competing in a Targa rally event near Perth this morning. His car left the road and hit a tree. It's not known yet if his co-driver will survive. :(

    Once again ... he died doing something he loved.

    RIP Brocky :(

    Very Sad.

    The other sad thing is that my Science teacher at school thinks he'll be the next Australian Hero to go..... LOL he thinks he's an Australian Hero....

    I grew up with Bathurst and Brockie. My father was a fan and consequently I grew up being a Holden Lover and a fan of Peter Perfect. I was driving home from work when they broke into a song to announce the 'unconfirmed' report and I have to say, I was stunned. I almost yelled "WHAT!?!?!"

    A sad loss for not only Australia, but the racing world. He created the great 'Holden/Ford' battle, and for that, Australia thanks him.

    RIP Brockie, and give 'em 'ell where ever you are!

    Never been a fan of Holdens or Brockie since i am an import and therefore never saw much of him on tv ;)

    but it has not been a good week at all...
