For everyone who loves the wonderful sword, a superb collectors item, meet here and lets discus about the most famous sword in the LOTR Trilogy and quite possibly of all time. Post any cool pictures you have of it. Here are a few:

I love the engravings on the sword.

By UC, on the plaque, the Limited Edition reproduction of the movie prop

    The Wielder of Anduril, Aragorn

    A full image of it.

I plan to buy the Anduril Unlimited edition collectors sword soon, it is just a piece of art!

This is a collecting forum. Nowhere does it say Star Wars collecting. Just "collecting".

    Cool sword, StarWarsman.

Definitely a cool sword, there are few movies outside the SW Trilogy that I would love to have prop replicas of, and the LOTR Trilogy is at the top of the list.

Is there a company producing authentic prop replicas from LOTR?

Yeah, I love this sword, too. I just wish I could win the lottery so I could get more Master Replicas products and the Lord of the RIngs weapons.
By the way, is the Anduril you're buying the one on the Lord of the Rings Fanatics site? The one for $225 or so?

I believe that United Cutlery makes authentic replicas of the weapons from LOTR. Of course, you pay out the wahzoo for them too.

well right now the best price I can find is about $175 for it, from Realm of Fantasy online. I think I could only trust my money with UC to make the sword, there are some cheap ones out there that cost more

I now have an imitation Anduril. It is pretty good for a knock off, but lacks the engraving down the blade channel. Does anyone know where I can get a good look at the whole channel so that I might be able to get it engraved in the future? Also, the Elvish in the pommel is not as cleanly visible as I am sure an authentic replica would be. Does anyone know what it says in Elvish and English?

    Thanks.
