So because Leia didn't talk about it in that scene she doesn't think it's possible? That doesn't follow. She's focusing on the more important thing of getting the Rebellion going.

The CGI is strong with this one. His CGI is almost near perfect. Credit to ILM for that.

So you grab a quote out of context? Interesting.

I still think they lost a great opportunity to make Snoke more interesting (they had Andy Serkis but just used him for some minutes)

I just read a theory on reddit that Snoke is a force projection by Kylo himself. Like he force projected Snoke as an imaginary friend of sorts bcoz he was lonely.

That would explain why we never see Snoke train Kylo at all ? Kylo cant train himself right.

Why Luke never fought Snoke ? bcoz he is actually somehow Kylo. And Luke wouldnt hurt his nephew.

Why Kylo killed him easily ? Bcoz Kylo created him in the first place.

Rian showed the technique on his twitter, that the jedi can actually make things appear real.

Yes. And he offends himself to make Shish Kebap out of himself afterwards. So he actually lost against himself. What a loser. Sounds feasible.

Honestly Kylo seems unstable enough to do that. So i dont know. ;)

Plus they keep hammering his "conflict" , him being "torn apart" , "split to the bone" , problems to the audience. So it could happen.

So it's like ... Fight Club for Star Wars. Only this time Tyler did create a fascist military order and took over the galaxy.

Only to highlight it. And the context doesn’t change things.

I think I want to like this, but cant bring myself to buy it.....
Showing Snoke dead on the floor, and showing his parts flop off his throne, kinda makes it seem a bit of a stretch......

    LOL of course it does.

SeemsSyouSjusy jumpedjin conversation without reading the context. ItIwasntIt even an interpretation. It was more along the lines of raising a question.

    This is the context:

You said you don’t interpret. Yet here is clear proof you do indeed interpret. And I consider it a misinterpretation.

You might want to take English composition and reading comprehension courses. Now, spin away.

I’ve read more than that. You repeatedly said you don’t interpret.

Go back and read again. I believe I separated all that. Regardless, the person i was speaking with, well we both decided we were venturing off topic.

    So......

Do you think there is a way to bring Snoke back that wouldn't be ridiculous?

No. The best way he could come back is if he was a ghost in Kylo Ren's mind.

I think there might be a way for him to appear briefly as an echo, or shade of the character ( and Sidious, too ), if the film explores the Force netherworld in any detail. Perhaps, a development of Rey's Force vision in TFA, where Palpatine's voice can be heard. But I don't think he'll be coming back in any substantial way.

Did we ever get an answer as to why Andy Serkis teased a huge Snoke backstory when in reality there never was any at all?

There is a backstory. It just wasn't told in this movie because it wasn't relevant to the forward progression of this saga. We'll probably get more in a book or comic and it will be mostly what we've been cued in about outside the films. He's an old dude who is very powerful in the force and got injured at some point so he was afraid to make a power play to rule the GFFA until both the Jedi and Sith were gone.

ps. Snoke's power level is now officially OVER 9000!!!!!!!
