Krash asked me to pass this along: The Akron Art Museum is hosting an exhibit on Japanese anime and manga called "My Reality: Contemporary Art and the Culture of Japanese Animation" until Jan. 5, 2003. The museum's website is Anime Exhibit in Akron. If that hyperlink doesn't work, let me know and I'll try again.

Sorry! Krash did give me directions but I guess I'm a slow learner. Here it is in regular text: http://www.akronartmuseum.org. Don't tell Jocasta Nu about this little failure!

Thanks, Master Krash. I knew one of you more computer savvy Jedi would know what to do.

Argh! Anime! I can't stand anime! I am to anime what Darth Maul was to Qui-Gon...it's hard to ponder that adults actually watch that stuff *shudders*...Does the term "grow up" ever sink in?

Some of it (not all) has more complex stories and more characters with depth than a lot of live-action films produced out of Hollywood.
I'm not a fan, but I appreciate the art.

This from a guy who was dueling with a lighsaber outside a soccer game last Saturday night.

Hey, I wasn't on a colored background with big doe eyes and funky hair and bouncing around in big overexaggerated martial arts moves doing that, was I? I rest my case.

I don't know that it's really considered anime, but I think that it is. If the show is, than the only anime thing that I like is Yu-Gi-Oh! There's a fun show! You can basically forget any other kind, though. And it's like my dad says, "Aging is mandatory, but growing up is optional." That is a quote that I definitely live by!

My padawan doesn't hold back does she? Alright, I admit, I'm a novice when it comes to computers. Scary thing is, Amy's mom will listen to my advice rather then Amy's when it comes to computers (simply because I've had one longer)

EDIT: ROBOTECH is about the limit of my anime experience. Anyone have the new video game? Dragonball Z...never got into it (too much backstroy to get caught up on)
