Hou, TX Anniversary Celebration

As many of you may recall, on May 25th of last year, the same day Star Wars celebrated its 25th anniversary, we had our third posted meeting, which made us an officially recognized FanForce. Coming this May 25th, there will be two more anniversaries: Our one first anniversary and the 20th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. As such, we're planning a duel celebration. On the 24th we'll be getting together at Adam's (Count Dough_Ku) to watch ROJ. We'll do this after lunch, but what we do for lunch depends on the number of interested attendees. Seating at Adam's will be limited to... 10 to 14 (I forget the exact number, I'll have Adam post is soon). If we have more than that interested in lunch, we'll eat some place nearby then watch Jedi, otherwise, he'll do pizza with the movie.

I can fit 10 people comfortably in the living room. But I can squeeze up to 14(well, 15 since I'll gladly give up a spot) in there if necessary. There's plenty of seats.

Laura, your summer break ends on May 25th? Why so short?

 

My place is right near the intersection of Richmond and Beltway 8, behind the Cinemark Tinseltown Westchase theater. The name of the apartment complex is AMLI at Western Ridge. It's the only place in the area, so if you can find the theater, you can't miss it.

From the number of people we've got so far, I would say we're still on for having pizza at Adam's. Doesn't look like we'll need to eat out elsewhere first.

 

You mentioned 1 PM in your message. That sounds fine with me. All I need now is a head count for Saturday.

Also, if we're doing pizza, everyone who's coming needs to let me know what they'd like me to order. Just for the record, my preference is Domino's followed by Papa John's and Pizza Hut. But I'll get whatever the majority wants.

 

I like two of those options: Dominos and Pizza Hut.

Oh, and add Jeff to your list. He said he wants to come, but he hasn't been on the TFN recently.
