Announcement of new icons manager

It is with pride that I can announce DVeditor as the new icons manager to replace droideka27. This was a unanimous decision by the three administrators. Yesterday was a great example when I sent him three NBA images and asked him to whip them up as icons so I could see how they translated. Within minutes I received them back as icons with a smile. This is just one example of how he is. He's very icon and banner savvy. Active as a mod and user. Polite. Very organized, which this position needs. Remember his Comms index?

Now we can finally get all those Star trek icons uploaded.

We'll have to "tawk" about Celebration IV icons. Assuming the theme is going to be centered around the 30th Anniversary and all that, that makes it hard to come up with just one image, doncha think. Any thoughts on that?

Valeda, personally I think it's well worth having several icons for - we can discuss any/all aspects of that with Sape and gabe once I have server access and such.
