I reposted part of a PM conversation I had with one of the LFL people to answer one of D-Lowes questions but realized I hadn't asked permission. Apparently now I'm one of them.

 

I hate this joke.

 

Lol! This joke is about as bad as Ignant being a JCC mod.

 

The precedent being set here is that if done as part of an elaborate joke, swearing, flaming, and abusing powers is fair game.

No joke should supercede the Terms of Service. KNOCK IT OFF.

 

Spamming is against the TOS too, Vertical. How many times are you going to post that?

 

I gotta gree with Vertical here. I don't really like the fact that my posts were edited out for a false reason (it was said that I was posting a PM when in fact I was only posting a screenshot I had taken of someone else's public post). Joke or no joke, this is setting a bad precedent for the future.

That's really true. I don't use 3SA, but I'm in fanfiction all the time. I almost hope that this is a joke, but if it's not, any and all efforts at getting better communication between mods and users will be shot.

I'm with Vert on this one...

It's fine to have the yearly April Fool's joke, but it's not ok for mods to abuse their power and supercede the rules that everyone else has to follow to do it.
