Pre-Production is supposed to start in Spring, we should be getting some news soon.

 

What exactly does pre production include? When does the casting call go out?

 

Pre production usually involves financing, finalising the script (or at least having an advanced draft), hiring a director, a cinematographer and the principal cast.

 

Look, we all know what's going on.

The whole Sequel Trilogy talk is just an elaborate attempt at population control by way of getting two generations of science fiction fans incredibly giddy - leading to months-worth of high blood pressure as we await more news - and then acknowledging the bitter truth that it was all a con, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths in one day due to (broken) heart attacks.

There are just too many mouths to feed in this globalized world, and all nations are struggling with huge budget deficits.

i'm really hoping the original cast is returning. I noticed Mark Hamill hasnt tweeted anything in a couple days. Maybe he got word that he will be reprising his role as luke and is on hush mode for now?Just a thought.

Even if they name a director its not going to be much of to go on. Other than the predictable, "he sucks" or "he is great".

Thats about the only news your going to get for the next 6 months. One of the real questions I want answered is whether John Williams is going to score the thing, or has some sort of protege that will take over the reigns. The dude is over 80 years old.

OP - if the wait for Episode 7 news is killing you, I highly suggest you see a doctor. Or at least go outside.

 

Useless post dude, but its amusing when people try to act cool on a Star Wars forum. He obviously was not being literal.

We haven't seen any news as of late, but its still early guys! Get a your SW fix with some video games, novels, or comics!

 

It's not really driving me nuts at this point. It's just making these message boards incredibly boring. The only two threads worth reading anymore are the 'fake scoop' thread and the Social thread.

 

Agreed, I've taken to starting convos with like minded fans, so we can chat without others trying to destroy our dreams of an EU in tact

 

I just saw today, I don't know if it's old news or not, but Guillermo del Toro has turned down involvement in the film which is really quite sad because he could have made some great Yuuzhan Vong.
