Lit Announcing Star Wars: Jedi Academy!

I admit, with the EA news I first thought this topic title would refer to some rushed game, but more books by that author is always good news, so I'm happy, loved the first two already. Heck, if this is canon, I'll take this over the prequels.

 

If it includes something about the kids getting stolen from their parents I'm in.

 

When a tyke gets a magical holographic message delivered by a Convor at the age of 2, they get a one-way ticket to Landing Platform 11 3/8.

 

The guy's work on the Daddy Vader books really got me laughing, so I'm intrigued about this new one.

Judging from the picture, perhaps it'll portray the Jedi Temple stuff combined with our atypical elementary, middle and/or high school experiences?

 

Actually, I thought this thread was about some new release of Kevin J. Anderson's trilogy. Not that I'm complaining; this looks like a good one.

 

I have the same problem(ages 3 and 5) and they are both fans already.

 

I suppose my Lit-karma had to even out after the Shadows of Endor thread.

I was mainly referencing one of the original questions in the thread, if this work should be considered canon or not.

 

Maybe something imagined by Anakin Solo and/or the twins when they were young? If Jedi Prince is a bedtime story version of real events, and we had Han telling them about the Emperor's foot, this seems like something they could come up with.

 

Yeah, but you know what, who cares? Or:

 

take the jedi academy bullying outside boyz

 

Anyone who can't appreciate these books is dead inside.

 

I was quite amused by the Luke and Vader book. Haven't looked at the Leia one yet. I imagine this one will be great fun–but I'll admit I was disappointed because when I saw that on Wookieepedia there was a new "comic" called Star Wars: Jedi Academy in the new Insider issue, I assumed it was a continuation of the Jedi Academy: Leviathan story or Invasion. Still, I bet this'll be fun.

 

Sounds like Jedi propaganda. Little Johnzy probably gets to live with his parents and comute to the temple to study for six hours each day.

 

Those books are rather fun, I must admit- I suspect this one will follow the same trend.
