    "Perfect." Maybe it's a regional thing, but I hear it all the time used as a simple affirmative or agreement. "Want a sandwich?" "Perfect!" "Can you hand me that thing?" "Perfect!"

    No, it's not perfect, it's good, or fine, or agreeable, or acceptable, but it is definitely not by any stretch of the imagination perfection.

    For some reason this popped into my head the other day and I immediately thought of this thread. When I was a kid, I used to play a lot sports, and it would always annoy the **** out of me when some other kid would say "out of balance" instead of "out of bounds" when the ball when out of bounds. I'm sorry, but like, what are you talking about kid, wtf does "out of balance" even mean? Just because the first syllable sounds similar? These were my thoughts whenever I heard a kid say that.
