Chic, IL Annual Picnic & BBQ ? Saturday, August 1

This year?s BBQ will celebrate 10 years of Chicago Force! We will return to the location of last year?s party, Centennial Park in Orland Park, IL, We will be setting up at Picnic Area #3, at the end of Fun Drive on the left, between the lake and the baseball field. This was a great spot, with a cool pond and great playground for the kids. Bring the whole family.

This is a potluck affair. Hot dogs and brats will be provided, Bring a dish to share. Be creative people. Sides, salads, desserts, fruit, veggies and drinks will all be welcome. No ?chips? please. You are also welcome to bring any food you might like to grill.

Also, bring any lawn games you may enjoy. Bocce, bean bags, Frisbee, croquet, etc.

Some will be arriving early to hold the space. The food will be grilling at about 1:00 p.m. and we will stay until the Death Star blows-up.

Come early and stay late so as not to miss any of the fun!

I will be in Indianapolis at the Children's Museum for the "Clone Wars" exhibit...

 

I too regret missing this, for a (rare for me) family event.

I really had a nice time last year and was hopeful to attend again.

 

I'll be missing yet another event as April and I will be on our way to Yellowstone!

Very sorry to miss this, event.

Did not post earlier as I did not want to take any chances
as I was planning a surprize 50-th birthday party for
Grand Moff wife on this day, that involved a whole lot of stuff,
including a live Karaoke band for 2-hours, a rented hall, and after the
live band, another KJ system for another 3-hours of singing.

Hopefully, the few showers in the area did not impact
the CF BBQ as it is one of their bestest events.
