Maybe bring a case of something to drink? It looks like I am the only person bringing anything.

Ok, we'll bring some mix (good) cans of pop

 

we need games, unless someone has already said they would make some...

 

I can try to have the homemade Star Wars Cranium ready. Last year it rained before I could set it up, but I'll look through my stuff and see if I have everything from last year.

 

We have Star Wars Trivia (which only Killdeer and Plagius can play) it would be good for them to have some compition!
We have LOTR trivia based on the books! if anyone is interested.
We will probably bring cards too!

 

We got to have the ballon toss again. That was fun. If someone hasn't already picked up balloons I can bring those.

P.S. I guess we'll bring the stuff we had for the next meeting's raffle to the picnic, too. Is there no July meeting, or does the Columbus trip count for that?

 

In Greencat's initial post, she said she would be "inflicting" games upon us again. These are picnic-y type games.

Me! Me! I also rock on SW trivia.

 

Yeah, any meeting type stuff will be handled at some point during the trip. We'll probably have a less formal meeting at the picnicand a raffle there. The next 'meeting' meeting will probably be in September.

Does ever game have to be star wars related? I mean, I can probably think of some good games, but how bout just a badminton set? No? What if I attach Jar Jar pictures on the birdies? Does it count then?

 

Can't make it this year, August 26 is move in day!

 

I will be coming, the only problem is, I have to work in the morning. So, not that this will be a shock, but I will be late. But, as to not feel like a mooch showing up with nothing, I can call once I leave, and pick up any last minute things that might have been forgotten or missing. Cool? that's what I thought.

Checked this thread to make sure of what I promised to bring. Would anyone be up for badminton? Is there room to set it up? Do we still need raffle items? Am I supposed to bring a grill too?

Yes there is room for badmiton if you bring it. We always need raffle items. I think Terry is bringing a grill, but feel free to bring yours. Better too many than not enough (which is what usually happens.)

And yes, Oaks afterwards.
