Don't get your hopes up. It's passable at best.

I'm hopping I can get a new flight suit sometime soon.

 

But the helmet RULES! Even in it's pristine looking state.

Anyway, my queen and I will be in attendance. I will go as Vader, of course, and she will go in her Queen costume.

 

I'm a possibility, maybe. Are we going just SW again, or is an Indy ok? I probably won't have my Jedi costume ready by then.

I'd be in my Mirax costume, since my jedi seems to be missing several pieces. The only parts missing from my Mirax right now are my belt, gun, and the furry necked jacket. I know where to get the belt & jacket - the gun is something else. Any suggestions on where to pick one up at?

How long (as in miles) is the parade? I know, wierd question, but it would make a difference on which boots I wear.

Indy costumes are fine with me. Harry Potter stuff wouldn't bug me either to be honest but I don't know if that would bug the 501st guys or not. Other than the cross over folks I don't know how many of them are coming.

I will say this though. Until you pry my cold dead fingers from the controls of this group, The Indy costume will always be welcome at our stuff.

A Mirax costume would be great! I like EU costumes. Reb has a great Mara Jade one and Master Eki has an awesome Corrilian Jedi.

 

thanks for the compliment about my jedi costume. I'm actually redoing the tabards and getting new boots, so hopefully it will finally meet my overly critical standards..

As for the Halloween parade. I'll see what I can do about coming, though I'm taking the following weekend off to go up to Fargo for Valleycon.

I just have to check with the Train Store I help on weekends for that day, but I don't see a problem. I'll know for sure this Saturday. So put me down for "95% possible..."

 

I cannot make it!

The other Lab staff person has already asked for that weekend off. And because we have 1 lab person quitting this week, and another switching stores.... that leaves me. I get to work a 9am-9pm shift that day. Fun Fun.

But, I will be able to make it to the BBQ on Nov 1st.

Master Doright, why don't we start updating the first post in this thread with all the names of the people going and what costumes they'll have? I'll know tomorrow if I'm a go or not. I'm still 90% sure it's good for me and Kathy.

 

I will try to get Lupe and Liz to come with me. Liz will come if she is not working her bankie thingie...For Lupe..well they would have to have a very large MN force shirt for her????

I say other jedi for 2 reasons

1. It's more recognizable to the general public.

2. Being late October you may not want to be in sleeveless skin tight leather.
