Another piece to the great puzzle of the UR...(DJ SPOILERS)(Theoretical Statments)

Ok two very large things from DJ. Im only on Pg 100, so add anything else from there on if you want.

Ok, so it mentions the chiss have fended off even greater threats then the vong, infact threats that would make the vong run for cover.

We also get a little look at chiss society, and how they treat Thrawn as if he did not exist. Yet they still send their people to help with the House of Mitt'thrawn'doo.

Heres my theory,
The chiss were once really really powerful, or come from powerful people, however there was a large force that invaded, in the wars that followed the chiss where able to hold back the enemy remnents in the deep UR. Through info gathered by them, they have determined another threat will come(possibly the vong), so they reduced there glory for a stable, almost perfect government. However the people who disigreed went to a Unknown system, and evolved into the nagai.

Please keep in mind this is all thousands of years before ANH.

 

For anyone else who cares, I have new chiss info.

Ok DJ has this chiss fmeale in it, from the House of Nuroundo, the main military house in the chiss fraction. So even more, we are seeing bits and peices of more of the "main chiss" aside from Thrans Phelenxe.

Also we learn the chiss controll a system with a volcanic world
