Another potential theory on the vong(I HAVE EVIDENCE FROM TIMETALES!)

It is rumored that the hyperdrive was invented eons ago by a space-faring race from outside the known galaxy. When this race encountered the known galaxy, it first came upon the Corellian System. There, the aliens sold the secrets of the hyperdrive to the Corellians, who studied it for decades before producing their first, working hyperdrive.

Here's an idea on why the Vong hate technology, and it might have been previously stated somewhere.

A long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away the Yuuzhan Vong had nice things like droids and starships and the like, but suddenly, an astral (outer space!) anomaly (beats me what it would be) causes all their technology to malfunction. (Think droids killing people.) Luckily, (or unlikily for many) the Yuuzhan Vong were the warrior race they are now and fought back. Their technicians learned to make the things they had before only by growing them instead of building them. The cost of doing this was a disconnection to the Force since their Force resevoirs were used bringing their new creations to life. They eventually destroyed all their previous technology with their new Amphistaffs and Coralskippers and found their new toys better than the old ones. The rest, as they say, is history......even if I don't know what that history is.

Yep. The Vong created the Correlian sytem before humans evolved from ape.

That explains why half their fleet was blown apart by Centerpoint Station. Also why they are thus piss-scared of it.

Excellent theory. Also, Tarkin created the Death Star and then forgot how it worked. Thats why he thought it was a planet destroyer. It was originally designed as a dental cleaning device.

I also have another potential theory on the Vong!!
they are a species that only entered the GFFA about 50 years previous to VP, in the form of scouts!! before that, they were quite happy in their own galaxy fighting the odd war or two!

Alas, Shimmra had a nice dream whilst in contact with some gods that told him of the GFFA. (IF this god is Palpatine, I, possibly one of the EU's strongest supporters, will burn all my books)

Apart from that...well, I'm sure we know the rest.
