Gee, that's a new one on me, QS. For once I am stumped.

Sorry to hear about everyone who was sick; hope you get better. And yes, that green Chewie was kinda freaky, but it looks like things are returning back to 'normal' now.

*perks up* Sabé action figure? When? Where?

jeditictac, thank you for your kind wishes. I appreciate your sympathy.

    Back to handmaidenology.

I've put together a new site apart from my Queen Amidala one that's just for the handmaidens! It was hard to make it and not repeat what QGP has done with the RHS site, which it pretty much covers everything. I tried though.

    Here's something for Rabé fans: http://www.starwars.priv.pl/theed/theed/theed.htm http://www.starwars.priv.pl/theed/theed/theed.htm
There should be a Rabé wallpaper on that page.
Here is a direct link to the wallpaper (I don't remember which size it is...) http://www.starwars.priv.pl/theed/theed/124b.jpg http://www.starwars.priv.pl/theed/theed/124b.jpg
    Hope the links work...

I'm looking for links for my links page. Any suggestions? http://www.geocities.com/audrey_yane/ylinks.html http://www.geocities.com/audrey_yane/ylinks.html
Here is what I've got so far...Not many I know, but Bessie has been giving me problems as of late...let's just leave it at that.

    I have two questions:

    1) How many handmaidens are in the Throne Room scene at the beginning?

    2) What is the order of the four handmaidens at the DB parade?

BTW, I've put up picture galleries on my HM site.

Lt. Piett: I don't know, but it must have been something pretty horrible.

Queen Sabé: I don't know the answer to either question (they'll pretty have to wait until April 4), but I do have a few comments on your website, specifically the breakdown on who plays who when and what is she wearing. (Nicely organized, btw!) I would call the Handmaiden Senate outfit black, not blue, and it's not a cape; if you look at the pictures on the FIDM website, you'll see that it's a dress, i.e. with sleeves. In fact, here ya go (let's hope this doesn't kill the thread):
    http://www.fidm.com/features/gallery/ae2000/additional/menace/images/41.jpg
Also, there are actually two handmaidens with Amidala in the Senate, but which two is up for debate. Personally, I think it's Sabé and Eirtaé, because in the Anakin-can't-count scene, Rabé isn't wearing the Senate outfit.

Also based on the above picture, I would have to say that the handmaidens did not wear the Senate dress to Qui's funeral. The one picture I've seen definitely shows a cloak (no sleeves). The only handmaiden cloak is the maroon one from pre/post Senate, so I would say that's the one they wore to the funeral.

I suppose I'll have the final word on the color of the Senate outfit after I personally inspect it on April 8. (Yippee!) It could be a dark navy; Luke's "black" cloak from ROTJ turned out to be very dark brown.

Somehow I knew you would bemoan the lack of Sabé, Piett.

    Queen Sabé,
    1. four, I think...maybe, ah, anyone wanna help me out here?
    2. Sabé, Rabé, Eirtaé, Yané, that I'm pretty much positive about.

Réka, thank you for your compliments on my "who's who" organization and thank you for your corrections. I actually put that together before the only clear picture of the senate costume came out - previously, it looked like a cape to me, which is also why I goofed with the funeral scene. About the number of HM's, once again, I thought that perhaps there was only one at the time I made the chart. I discussed this with some RHS members who have determined that there were two. I agree that the second is probably Sabé. There's a picture at the RHS website (Senate Gown gallery) in which you can see one is definitely Eirtaé. I'll make the changes ASAP. Thanks again!

Yané, thanks for the clarification. As it turns out, I guessed the DBP order correctly on my website. As for the Throne Room, I figured it was either two or four.

Four: the two seated by the large columns plus the two in the communication to the Neimoidians. Also, in a scene with Obi-Wan and Yoda at the end where OW says he'll train the boy, in the background, there are four HM chairs, two facing two.

Two: the two seated handmaidens could've gotten up to stand by Amidala when she did her thing. Also, I didn't notice any standing when we actually saw her in the TR talking to Panaka and Sio Bibble.

    I guess we'll just have to wait...<sigh>

Yané is correct. The order for the Disco Ball Parade is Sabé, Rabé, Eirtaé, and Yané.

My opinion on the Senate scene is Amidala is accompanied by Rabé and Eirtaé just because they seem to be the main two while Sabé is the secret weapon.

In the Throne Room, there are four handmaidens present during Palpy's transmission. We here at the RHS have been eagerly awaiting the video release so we can tell who those four are. Some believe the order is Yané, Eirtaé, Rabé, and Saché (okay, so that's what I believe), yet others swear Sabé is in that scene. T-minus 10 more days to go! Although, I'm a little upset that some people may get the video in the mail before the stores. The whole reason I didn't buy mine online was because I didn't want to wait longer than I had to. Oh well, a Jedi should learn patience.

Queen Sabé: I like your handmaiden website. You've obviously put a lot of work into it, and it looks great!

Piett: The wallpaper webpage isn't from the official site, it's just a fan page. However, the offical website and the new Insider has no handmaiden information to speak of. At least we're getting that great pictures of Maul's ship and awesome interviews with the voice of TC-14. Yippee!

Thinks that's it. Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday. Until next time.

    MTFBWY,
    Andé...the feeling 100% bettr handmaiden!

Giantano, thank you for the HM information and for the compliments to my site. It's no RHS, but I did work hard on it. Also, the reason I think it's Eirtaé and Sabé in the Senate box is that Rabé was wearing the Blue/Purple dress in the Anakin-can't-count-hms scene and E & S were already in the Senate dresses. Just a guess. I am also eagerly awaiting my widescreen edition!

Red One, nice to see you, if only for a second! Hurry back!

hmm, i've just experienced a run by red one ;-D

i think it's four in the being scene too...

queen sabe i like your site. i think i've said that before but i really do. :-D

question: ya'll know that little queen calender right? well, on the front it's the queen in the black feather gown and in there it has the queen in the black feather gown. now is that sabe or the queen cause i'm guessing it's sabe but i'm not totally positive cause i'm not the best at identifying people. oh, and there was no battle gown queen in there (sabe) so that threw me off too and i'm having self doubts. help? anyone? i have a couple cool thoughts (i think) for my dorky site, i just need to do them and get my site up. maybe in the summer due to my procrastionation ;-)

For all you Sabe fans out there, Mr. K's thread in Miscellaneous should be interesting. In the Star Wars Awards thread, Keira Knightley was nominated for Best Actress! (but he still spelled the name wrong ) So if you want Sabe/Keira to get some recognition, go and vote!

Finally got a look at your site, QS. It looks terrific. Again, it looks like you put a lot of effort into it. I like it almost more than your Amidala site.

Hmm... good question, jeditictac. I do know it's really Amidala posing in the black gown on the cover, but as for the pic inside I have no idea. Btw.... No battle Sabé pic? *&*@#$?>;!!!! That dress rocks!

I voted-- I almost put Wedge for best supporting char, but I decided to opt for a late entry and put Sabé. She was more important, after all....

Hey guys, I have decided to just start posting on the old RHS Fic Thread and ask the admin to move it over. That way, everyone's fic there gets saved!

The revisions are being posted now. Give me a bit of time. I'll have up to the end of "Choice" back up. There'll have to be a new story, then I'm getting back to "Connection"

    Hoo-Ha!

Alderaan21, thanks! I must admit that I'm starting to get a little bored with Queen Amidala. I need to do some heavy updating to get back in the Amidala spirit while still appreciating the vast importance of the handmaidens, of course.

CrescentJedi, why don't you post your story at the old place and include the explanation you gave us but also post it somewhere else. That way, more people will get to read you story! Let me assure, however, that the RHS knows how long you've been working on the Sabé rewrites and that it was an original idea of yours.

which reminds me, anyone still addin'/wanna add/plannin' on adding to the RR? (I've been having troubles accessing that thread as of late, so I'm not sure if anyone has been posing there.) Am I what's that saying? "kicking a dead horse?" um, that sounds uh, odd. Or is it "beating a dead horse?" or am I mixing my metaphors?...
