another roll call

ahoy hoy, randy here. 18, senior in castle rock, ill be attending cu boulder in the fall (with sophomore standing i might add). woo! umm, not married, no kids, only a fish and a dog. pre-massive head injuries, i wrestled and played rugby but now i just play guitar a lot in a band. ive narrowed the world down to the 4 greatest things ever (in no particular order): star wars, the simpsons, final fantasy, and weezer. that should give you a pretty decent idea of what im all about. first intrigued by the saga when they re-released iv-vi a few years ago, only recently getting into it again. im not as die hard as most of you are, but i still love star wars as much as life itself. while i may not collect (unless you count video games), but everytime i hear the imperial march, my heart still skips a few beats. why do i like star wars? thats a question for which the answer can be found in the heart of anyone who has been enchanted by the magnificently epic series, words would only taint the true feeling. i was quite excited for the meeting this month, then i realised that im leaving to visit the philippines on thursday and wont be back until april 1. boo.

wow, a friend of mine here is going to the Philipines on the 22nd and staying for about 3 weeks.

 

GEEZ! For not having a perm presence there anymore, we sure have a lot of folks headin' that way again.....! {;>

 

lol, well that's where she's from originally. she's not an official US citizen yet (got a few friends from there in the AF that aren't citizens yet).

 

Oh, well, yea....there's quite a few of those folks.

 

Well I'll be here until September, then I'll comeback for the winter to mooch off my parents So I suppose I'll be a seasonal member

i've been a star wars fan ever since i can remember, but more intensely so within the last 7 years. i have a boyfriend who knows more about star wars then i do, which rocks. i collect just about anything sw with first prize going to my autographs....jeremy bulloch (boba fett), david prowse (darth vader), anthony daniels (c-3po), peter mayhew (chewbacca), biggs (garrick hagon), adm. motti (richard leparmentier), and ray park (darth maul).

hobbies include photography, painting, writing, camping, typically anything outdoorsy, soccer, web pages, graphic design, food. i love food.

i've actually been with this dear old crew since the summer of 2000 and i'm glad to be around.

 

hey, i'm 17 and graduating this may!!! i've liked sw for as long as i can remember, but have been a hard-core obsessive fan for about the past 6 years. my primary sw focus is the eu, but i take sw anyway i can get it. my other interests include horses and field hockey, both of which i participate in as much as physically possible. however, due to my perpetually broke status i'm unable to afford the gas to attend meetings (oh, and this is my first post on the ff boards- about time huh?)

Anthony here , 33 Divorced Male. I am new to the board and really to Co. I have been in the Aurora area now for about 11 months, so new home , new board and new friends. I have been into the Stars Wars Saga as long as I can remember honestly !!

Joining the Old Fogey contingent:

Michael, 32, no spouse/kids, Legal Video Specialist. I'm interested in a wide range of SciFi areas, including StarWars, StarTrek, Babylon5, Buffy, though none to obsession. I have been in line for the first day of every StarTrek film, including the first one when I (at 9 years old) and my father were interviewed and shown on the local TV news as father and son Trekkies. I do occasionally read Star Wars novels. I've lurked on here for awhile and just started joining in because I do enjoy groups like this and haven't found an interesting one in a while. I'll probably help out at Kempe because it's pretty much the same thing I do at StarCon as a security volunteer.

 

This is starting to sound like my other life. How many Mike's do we have now? The only way it could be worse is if there were several Jennifer's, then it could be just like H.S. 28 Jennifer's in my Graduating class; 24 Mike's, & 37 Chris's. Our parents needed to be a little more creative I think.
