Another What would you call...

    Okay I'm starting this JA fic and starts out with this big celebration kinda like the 4th of July but for the Republic. What I need is ideas for a name I came up with Republic Anniversary but that seems a bit dull to me anyone have any ideas?

    In episode I didn't someone say there hadn't been a war since the formation of the republic?

    So what about, celebrating however many years of peace they'd had. Say : 400 years of Peace or 200 of Demockracy?


    Peace of the Republic?

    Something like that anyway....

    It's not supose to commeorate any war ending just the formation of the republic itself.

    I like "Foundation Day," celebrating the Founding of the Republic.

    The Hyperspace Wars were supposed to be about 50 years prior to TPM; the Republic HAD to be in existence then!!! And the Sith Wars took place before the founding of the Republic? I don't believe that...

    Ah, well. The beauty of fanfic is you can do what you want. :) And don't worry about AU vs. EU; the EU authors aren't listening to Geroge, either...

    Oh don't worry I'm not worried about following cannon (hasn't stopped me with my other stories). It kinda is AU it goes back and forth.

    I just need a name and Foundation day does sound good. How many years it's been is something I won't go into really.
