The program is now locked in and we can now give you a run down of the major
events being run at the weekend.
?The main guests - Anthony Daniels (Star Wars saga), Virginia Hey
    (Farscape/Mad Max), Brian Thompson (X-Files/Buffy/Star Trek/others) will
each be doing talks or panels and autographing each day of the convention.
The guests will also be taking part in other activities throughout the
weekend (where they can) including attending the banquet, attending the
trivia night/pizza banquet, attending the chocolate panel, and taking part
in costume and art display judging amongst other things. All guests are paid

hopping on a plane on Tuesday!)
?There will be a full Anime program running all 3 days of the convention
arranged by the Melbourne Anime Society - 9 hours a day.
?Friday night is a meet and greet night. Convention attendees can mingle in
the bar area and talk to each other (a novel concept I must say). There will
be nibbles supplied and drinks will be at bar prices. For those not
interested in talking, the video programs will be operating as well. And of
course, should you wish to help (yes please), we can always do with a hand
stuffing con bags and setting up tables etc.
?Saturday sees a full stream of costuming talks and a costume display as
well as art talks and an art display. If you wish to put something in the
art display, please bring it with you but we must have it by 10:00am Sat.
?Saturday night is a banquet with the theme of Raiders of The Lost Ark 20th
anniversary. This is your chance to have a good meal and spend the night
celebrating this first in a great series of films. Come in costume and
prepare to have a good night. All guests will be there. NOTE: this is the
only activity you need to book in advance for. please see web page.
?Saturday night will also have a special presentation in the theatrette of
all 3 of the Mad Max films introduced by Virginia Hey who will give a talk
to those present about mad Max and her time on the second film.
?Saturday night will also see a full vampire video stream running all night.
?Sunday sees a stream of fan films and talks on making fan films. everything
for the really old to the really new and the talk will be from people who
    have made these films.
?Sunday night will be the Pizza Banquet / Trivia Night - the latest in a
series of trivia nights from multiverse events. This one will be great,
especially following the eating of pizza!

panels and discussions with a number of Melbourne based authors. There will
be a literary luncheon with authors on each table and at the end of the day
