Sth Bend, IN Any Action Figure Collector's here?

Hi all, my name is Michael (Mike-El on Eville Boards). I was just wondering if there was any collectors in the house?

I am talking all lines of toys and not just Star Wars.

 

I've never gotten into the action figure stuff. I do have the Vader figure with lighting in the helmet, as well as the C3 Vader.

VaderIsOne (another one of our South Bend members) had an entire room in his house dedicated to unboxed figures and toys. Perhaps he has some pics he can share.

Nice to hear from you. Unfortunately I am not a collector, either. I have a lot of well-worn Kenner figures/vehicles in a couple totes in my closet, but that's it.

i AM A AVID COLLECTOR OF ACTION FIGURES 3 3/4 TO 15". MOSTLY STAR WARS ,BUT i KEEP MY EYE OPEN FOR GI JOE AS WELL AS INDIANA JONES ACT FIGS.

 

i have a pretty good transformers collection going right now. the only problem is that they're all out of the packaging. i'm always looking for them at goodwill, garage sales, flea markets, etc. I have quite a few "old school" figures, and as my son is getting older, he is getting more and more of the latest ones. However, unlike "true" collectors, i get them for him to actually play with.

Mike, it is true, that my wife is about ready to leave me (just kidding), no I have a pretty extensive collection, however, very disorganized.

After kids the collection moved and has never recovered. Hoping this winter to straighten it up a bit.

 

I'm sure I can help you out with storage.

 

I really don't collect.

 

I try to pick up any R2D2 or X-Wing items I see.. but I've pretty much limited myself to that.. I have a few other odds and ends things, I really like my Nazgul figure.. mostly I just collect comics. I only need 1-6 to complete my Marvel Star Wars collection.

 

I used to collect the toy lightsabers. But the point wasn't preservation, but domination of my friends. What's more fun that a full on plastic lightsaber brawl?

anyway, I collect a lot of white-armor and related items

tho stuff I have from the late 70s and early 80s is still with me,
somewhere in the mess of star wars stuff all around me

 

The comments here make me think we really need to have Figure Club.

More of an incidental collector, but I still have a few items.

I have a lot of the Hasbro SW figures from 2004+, most in boxes (in my attic). I've also got a couple of the vehicles.

Got several of the SW and BSG micro-machines.

A few of the Unleashed figures: Vader from ESB, Vader (Anakin) and Kenobi from ROTS, Luke from ROTJ, and Aayla Secura.

I have the entire collection of BK Super-D SW figures.

And lots of odds and ends figures and doo-dads of SW things.

 

I second the motion for a collectors club "ALL IN FAVOR"

Book club = less time with family

= my wife going sith on my a$$

 

VIO - the first rule of Figure Club is, YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT FIGURE CLUB!!!

 

however, big believer in the 2 concept of each, can't seem to get my wife believing in that policy, but one for show and one for Figure Club or just hanging out with...lol
