Was watching the series 4 dvd the other nite and there was a good interview with Paul Darrow in the extras.

He was asked about the future of B7 and said that Terry Nation (who died in 97 and also said he was never happy they killed of the characters in B7) was gonna do a new mini series with Avon having not been killed but sent into exile like Napoleon- but in later years they decide to go and kill him off (they obviously being the federation) and this is were the story kicked off. But by the tone of his voice its sounds now like that it wont be happening. It had been in the pipeline for years (they even opened a website a few years ago to advertise 'Rebellion Reborn') but as the interview with Paul was last December it doesnt look like it's happening. In a way I'm glad, as i always considered them all dead, and that me and my brother didnt shed tears at the end of series 4 for nothing :p .

Watching the DVD's (all four series) was good and brought back the memories- though very dated and some naff stories.

But to me Blake's 7 and Dr Who will always hold that special place in my heart for child hood memories.

I would say you should see it- but as yer young and used to cgi etc then ya might not appreciate it as much as i did when i was about 8 or 9. Though I could be wrong.

Paul Darrow feels that the modern day version of it is all that Firefly/Serenity stuff. I'm not keen on that at all though.

Blake's 7 was an awesome show. Despite the typically bad BBC sets and wooden acting, the stories were very strong for the majority of it. And the Liberator was a cool ship.
