The Illustrated Star Wars Universe...

 

the only other one i know of is the comic "bounty hunters" thats has to do with the ancient jedi rees karda or soemthing like that. Aurra sing goes to hoth i think to track down one of his decoys so she can find the real rees karda

 

In SW Tales #5 there is a tale entitled Hoth.

 

Several of the Marvel Comics featured Hoth. the ESB novelization certainly does. Darksaber features Hoth. One of the tales in Tales of the Bounty Hunters features a little of Hoth. As has been said, their is a Hoth story in one of the Tales comics.

 

Two books feature it rather heavily, "Classic Star Wars: Vol 2 - The Rebel Storm" and "Classic Star Wars: Vol. 3 - Escape to Hoth," both trade paperback volumes by Dark Horse Comics.

 

Jedi Vs Sith, and JK books, feature Lord Hoth, .

 

Is planet Hoth named after Lord Hoth?

and what about bugs bunny and Hoth-enpheffer?

 

The Lord Hoth thing is a rumour, yes. Maybe even the planet Ulic and Vima are on in TotJ: Redemption, IIR the rumour correctly.

Dunno.

 

Rhen Var was the ice planet in Redemption.

Remember in early conceptual stages for ESB, Hoth was supposed to have all of these ruined cities - alluding to this ancient civillization - much like what Rhen Var actually ended up becoming.

However, I don't think the two planets are the same planet.

 

Isn't there a breif mention of it in SoE?

 

Hoth is in Empire Strikes Back Novilization

 

It is also in one of th EU novels. I can't remember which one, but they end up going into Echo Base and fighting the one armed Wampa.
