Any Canadians find Destiny's Way yet?

I ask this question because today, I phoned my local Chapters, and asked if they had gotten the book.

They said that they hadn't, and that it would be released "sometime in October." When I told them that today was the release date, they said that they didn't know anything of it.

I am curious if other Canadians have had similar problems with finding the book?

 

I got it in a Coles bookstore in Halifax today. They've had it since Friday, but wouldn't give me a copy.

Yeah I got it. I don't get them through stores though. I have someone who can order them for me, but when it shows up then it should be available in stores, or will be very very very soon

 

Yep, I checked my local bookstore (in BC) and they have three copies (SMALL bookstore). I'm gonna try to get one tomorrow.

 

I got it at Chapters today!

However-

I couldn't find it on the floor. When I asked a salesgirl, she looked it up on the computer and couldn't find it at first (And note, I was thinking I'd have to go to another outlet, but SHE told me all the Chapters and Coles are linked on computer, and it meant NONE of them had it in).

Anyways... I kept saying, "but it's DUE out today," and lo and behold, they were in the back room. She said it been entered into their system "oddly."

So bug your store and make them look out back!

 

I don't have it yet.

Then again, I live in California!

 

Found it in downtown montreal.

 

Haven't gone overtown yet to look. But Traitor was only availible online at my Chapters three days after it came out. I showed them though. I walked across the parking lot and bought it at Coles.

 

Well, that really showed 'em YubYub...except Chapters owns Coles

Seems funny they would have two stores across a parking lot from each other

 

Well, it made me feel better. The parking lot thing: Chapters is in Crystal Palace and Coles is in the Champlain Mall, so it's not directly across the parking lot, but it's not really that far.

So has anyone in Saskatchewan found the book yet? Or do I have to wait and in the mean time be hit with all these spoilers runnin rampant?

i had this weird expeiriance with a halifax SW fan. he kept sayign that there was no such book as "recovery". i didn't have the heart to tell him it was an e-book.

i'm from Cape Breton, N.S., BTW.

 

and i thought i was the only sw fan in nova scotia.

i live in ottawa now. and im going to get my copy today.

 

I have a lot of friends that are big Star Wars fans. The problem is, most are purists.

 

I've actaully seen alot of Copies.

It seems like any book store I seem to go into is guranteed to at least have a few copies in stock...
