Any collectors in the area??

I have been in and out the last few days as
have been shopping and visiting relatives...

 

If anyone out here bought an Imperial shuttle from FAO Schwarz, they are now finally starting to ship as of this morning...

 

Isn't FAO Schartz a huge toy store in NYC? I was there...

 

Yes it is Tara. Their flagship store is in NYC. I have never been but have to go and check it out sometime.

 

It's an awesome store! When I was there, they had an entire floor devoted to Star Wars toys...but that was only because that year, OT had been re released in theatres.

 

Everything had big SW display that year and TPM.

 

Oh the memories! Damn that AOTC and hardly any toys!

 

Has anyone seen the pictures of the new toys
coming out in 2003. There are some very nice
items coming out...

 

Anybody in the Moncton area (or wherever) collect books, by any chance? I've been collecting the SW novels since Heir to the Empire, and I'm missing about four books on hardcover:
--I, Jedi
--Planet of Twilight
--Specter of the Past
--Vision of the Future

If anybody knows anything about these books on Hardcover (or have a copy you'd like to sell) give me a shout.

 

Wild Karrde and DOY are probably the people you want to talk to. Although, I can't imagine Derek (Wild Karrde) giving away or selling any of his babies.

You know what? Never mond. That was a really stupid question. If I have absolutely no intention of selling my collection, what would have made me think you would be willing to sell yours?

I'd still like to get my hands on those hardcover novels I'm missing.

 

Yeah, I'd like to "upgrade" some of my paperbacks to cardcovers too. Best bet is second hand stores, or maybe flea markets, etc.

 

Or Ebay.

What about comix-wize? Any kool paperbacks? Y'know, the ones that collect all the issues of a series in one book?

 

I have that list in paperback. And all my books, PB or HC are mine! My own! My precious!

 

For the comics, I collect them all individually as they come out. I don't have the willpower to wait for TPBs
