Any European/Dutch Expanded Universe fans around?

I'm probably going to be killed for this, but are there any EU or NJO fans around here? I like the movies, but started with the books before I saw the movies, so I tend to like the books better

Tough quetion why the EU... It is fun and gives a broader view.

Strange, I know some people here that like the EU very much, too...

 

I like the EU, although not all of it... there are some really bad books and comics out there. But on the whole I like it, and I have read most books.

The NJO is a bit uneven, some wonderful books (Enemy Lines) and some appalingly bad (Dark Journey).

 

I liked the NJO, but I don't like where they've gone and what is done.

 

I hate what they've done to some characters... especially Luke. And I can't stand Jaina or Jacen... argh! But some parts of the books are rather interesting...

But on the whole, there's much better EU than the NJO. I prefer the PT books...

Heh, im a huge njo-fan (hell, its the only eu series ive ever read....)
Anyways, i cant w8 until the last 2 books come out in october and november

 

I am curious how NJO ends.
But I am looking forward to Medstar, too. Finally some medical background!

 

I'm also curious to how it will end... there are so many things that must happen, I wonder how they will fit it all into two books... ah well.

 

Love the EU books. They just released them in Romania and bought everything they had for now. Some of them are GREAT, some are just good.

I don't have enough room for all the books, comics.....

I'm a big fan of the EU, especially the X-wing series...

NJO is fine, but to me, it misses the thing that made SW into what it is...

The X-wing series is the best thing about EU. Love them.

 

I am Dutch and i dont like EU!! I"m sorry but it is crap!! All this crap about The dark empire and Xizor.....! And what about after ROTJ? There is a jedi twin and more dark agents? I tried it but.......NO THANKS!!

 

I'm Dutch too. I love the EU (that is, most of it, and most of the EU isn't available here..) The Thrawn Trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn Duology are my favorites. So far, I've only read one NJO book, Vector Prime. I really enjoyed it, so I think I'm going to order the other NJO books
