FF:QLD Any Gold-Coasters here?

Just a simple question.

 

I do believe epic is a Gold Coast bum. But other than him, I don't know.

 

Well no one else has owned up to being from there, so I can't really say. However I would think there is only two of you.

 

I once saw a bronze inlander, but it was only in passing.

 

What a shame.

 

I frequent the Gold Coast on occasion.













Is that a contradiction?

I'll take that as an invitation to the barbie as long as I bring my own beer and snags.

And hey! though no-one's said it here... who says the Gold Coast is a culture-less vacuum? I should point out we've got our own Statue of David in the Raptis Shopping Plaza thats miles bigger than that teeny Italian job. Who needs to go to Florence when you can sit and eat your McDonalds takeout while admiring David's attributes and listening to some guy play show tunes on his white piano in the background. Culture? We've got loads of it, and its bigger and brighter too.

While I can't say I admire the statue of David's....umm.....chiseled bits, the Gold Coast is still a cool place.

Even more so when schoolies is on.

Well, I suppose it depends on why you are going down there in the first place.

He said "it depends on why you are going to schoolies" - however, with his mind in the gutter, it could mean absolutely anything.

 

I spent the day at Main Beach yesterday. It was magic!

 

Schoolies . . . I'm half tempted to repeat the experience . . .

 

Hear you nothing that I say, I meant it depends on why you go down to Gold Coast will affect how much you like it. If you're going down for the beaches and the night life then yes you will have fun. If you go to see historical landmarks and the sites then I fear you will be dissapointed.

I suppose I could be more specific, but I really couldn't be bothered.
