FF:VIC Any good boozers round here?

I'm at a loss for a decent local pub here in Forest Hill...luckily I'll be moving soon!

So where's there some good pubs in Victoria, preferably in or around SE Melbourne?

In SE Melbourne, the best pubs are
1)Mathew Flinders, run by the Zagames.
2)and if your willing to drive a bit, the Chelsea Heights Pub. Second to none in my books, especially the design.

Yes the Chelsea Hieghts pub is an intriguing design. I live about 1.5-2 km away from it. From what I recall the prices are good. I think.

I think it's only a relatively short bus ride from here!

 

A'kla : the Spare Ribs are second to none. That sounds american, but i swear its true.

I'll only be moving local, I live on Springvale road at the mo and it's driving me mad

 

Right then...I'm moving to Glen Huntly (near Caulfield?) next week and I might have some spare dosh in a few more weeks. Is there anywhere good 'round there?
